| Agios Ioannis |
Agios Ioannis is a picturesque village located 5 km from Mouresi (the capital of the municipality) and 52 km from Volos. The village is the oldest tourist resort in Pelion, having been developed in the early '60s. These days, Agios Ioannis is a well-established resort with plenty of hotels, rooms to let, restaurants, tavernas, and so on.
One of the most stunning features of the resort is its beautiful, 800-metre long beach, which has held a blue flag award for the last 11 years. Very close to Agios Ioannis on the south side you can find the beautiful beach of "Papa Nero" and to the north, the beach of "Plaka"
Visitors can enjoy a relaxing coffee or a stroll along the beach, which can be particularly appealing in the evening.
